Update Frequency missing?

It is probably me, but I cannot seem to locate the option that was used to change the health bar update frequency (instant, normal, ...) in Grid 3.0.24

That option does not exist for midnight.

This means that now the bar health is updated when the game decides to update the health.
In midnight we cannot used tricks to calculate/predict the future health of the player using the combat log information because there is no combat log available (this is what the instant option was doing before midnight).

I see, so how does Danders does the animation motion as opposed to instance change of the bars that Grid is doing

Instant updates have nothing to do with smooth animations, just the opposite.
Instant updates is about displaying the health change early to have more time to react.
Smooth animations displays the health later, because the health change animation lasts for a short time until the final health is displayed.
Grid2 never implemented smooth update animations, not even in previous expansions.

that's probably why the health bar updates don't feel smooth anymore since Grid2 is at the mercy of the client for the updates. They feel very "jumpy" and delayed.
I did not know Grid didn't have animations prior to Midnight since I always had "instant option" turned on, and the health bar updates felt pretty good.

With the instant option using the combat log, when an enemy was doing fast attacks, every damage hit was reflected in the health bar, but without the combat log the game by default is updating the health in batches like 2 to 4 times per second, so for example 4 fast attacks are displayed as a big jump down in health, instead of 4 small jumps.
