"Invisible text" at the start of a file - no longer works

I set up a config towards the end of last year with an "invisible" quote at the top of the file that appears in the editor but does not appear in the final file.

I don't know what happened, but that config has disappeared. I don't know where I go the information to do that because I can't find any info on anything like this. I'm trying to mess around with init.lua but all I can get is text in the infobar at the bottom.

I had something at the top of the file.

Any idea how I can get that back?
