Rate Limiting Issue

Issue

SynapseVSCode extension (v1.15.0) making excessive API requests to /metadata/datahub/V2/artifacts causing rate limit errors (HTTP 429).

• Error: "You have exceeded the amount of requests allowed in the current time frame and further requests will fail. Retry in ~3100 seconds"
• Method: POST
• Endpoint: /metadata/datahub/V2/artifacts
• Function: NotebookDataProvider.getChildren

Questions

1. Is this a known issue in v1.15.0?
2. Are there configuration settings to reduce these requests?
3. Any recommended workarounds?

Error stack trace shows repeated calls from NotebookDataProvider.getChildren via RequestService.post

I also started to experience this issue in the last couple of days. I'm also using version v 1.15.0.

All I was doing was working on a notebook, which I synced a few times to the workspace. This appears to trigger rate limiting and renders the VSCode extension for Microsoft Fabric unusable until the limiting time period expires.
