Present notebooks in alphabetical order

It looks like the notebooks are currently displayed in the order they were created, which can make it hard to find a specific one. It would be extremely helpful if they displayed in alphabetical order.

Any kind of organization system (alphabetical order or directory structure) would be a HUGE improvement

in the latest version 1.18, you can open notebook in virtual workspace, all notebooks are displayed in alphabetical order.

@Zhanghao-ms I am running version 1.18.0, the notebooks are still not listed in alphabetical order. Is there a setting for it?

Edit: Oh, I see that the alphabetical order is in the virtual workspace folder itself, not the "Notebooks" list in the main extension tab. It is better than nothing, but having a setting to "sort by" in the main extension tab would also be helpful.

eventually we want to have most of functionalities in virtual workspace, is that a better option than switching between extension panel and workspace?

It's on preRelease already v1.20.1. We're going to move it to official release in this week. btw, we add search function on VFS, that may make it easy to work on a large workspace.

@Zhanghao-ms It would be great if the folder structure from the Fabric workspace matched up with and was displayed on VFS. Helps greatly in real world workspaces with many notebooks.

And for what it's worth, in my larger workspace with many notebooks, search doesn't appear to work, it tries searching but just spins and nothing ever returns.
