Sorry, due to a regression in the MSYS2 runtime, the bug described in #730 crept back into this release. This bug is re-fixed in https://github.com/microsoft/git/releases/tag/v2.49.0.vfs.0.3 (which I will promote to a full release either today or on Monday, as I refuse to release on a Friday unless there are really good reasons to do so).
