Any plans to upgrade the actions-install action with the latest and greatest pac cli version?

have you come up with any workarounds? thinking of adding a step to the workflow that updates to 1.35.

Having the same problem as @sagargadamsetti and @tc-wood. Just wanted to check, when the action is updated to use a newer version of pac-cli will it be v1.35 or the latest 1.40.4?

Looks like there is no timeline. We may have to take the bait , upgrade the pac cli and see if all those issues get resolved. Sadly, this is a very frustrating situation to be in.

not sure. i'd assume they'd update to latest, but who knows when that'll be.

@sagargadamsetti, i've just been informed by a colleague that a pac-version-override parameter exists for the action-install Action.

try using that, like this: pac-version-override: 1.40.4

Thanks @tc-wood. Looks good to me. Tested both import and export but we get this warning on the console.
Warning: Actions built targeting PAC 1.34.4, so Action and PAC parameters might not match with requested version 1.42.1.
Wondering if that would break something in future.
