Fork this for Cloud SQL Postgres instance?

If i have to make this extension work for Cloud SQL Postgres, how should I go about it? What modules or system design changes would you recommend in this extension achieve that?

The extension should be able to connect to Cloud SQL Postgres instances (or any other local or hosted Postgres server), though there isn't support for any integrated GCP IAM roles as we have included for Entra. Is that the missing functionality for you?
