Using RPC to access the API

I'm very happy with your gem, great work.

I'm interested in contributing actually. I'd like to extend the gem to allow it to use the Race Status API

The API only allows connections via RPC according to the docs though. I'm trying to setup my integration to use RPC but I'm kinda confused about how to do that.

Can you point me in the right direction to get RPC working and I can begin adding the Race Status functionality.

hi @nulty . thanks, and sounds good! i'll take a look this evening and come up with some pointers.

when i first started writing this i half-considered writing an adapter for the RPC version of the API too, assuming that there were some differences but in the end concluded that there weren't and that wasting my time writing two things that did the same wouldn't be time well spent!

Well, as I mentioned, I'd be interested in implementing the Race Status API so I'm happy to help out however
