I love the idea of this add-on :)

Doing a quick test in a scene, it reports I could save 1377 MB from mostly converting images to Greyscale, however, all my EXRs are already single-channel. Not sure what's up with that, but here's one of the images in question: https://u.polyhaven.org/msJ/cliff_side_rough_4k.exr

Output from iinfo:

iinfo -v .\cliff_side_rough_4k.exr
.\cliff_side_rough_4k.exr : 4096 x 4096, 1 channel, half openexr
    channel list: Y
    compression: "dwaa"
    DateTime: "2024:08:28 09:56:56"
    PixelAspectRatio: 1
    screenWindowCenter: 0, 0
    screenWindowWidth: 1
    oiio:ColorSpace: "Linear"
    oiio:subimages: 1
    openexr:dwaCompressionLevel: 45

Next week I'll be able to upload the full CC0 scene file if you want to do any further testing. There's a nice mix of different types of image files being referenced. Here's the full report.
