Thank you for all your awesome work. I was able to make a ESP32 T-display communicate with the battery for quick readings. It has a dc buck converter and runs off the battery. It uses the spud isolator circuit on RX and the typical logic level converter on TX. It uses UART pins 32, 33. It temporarily turns off uart and pulls tx pin low for the reset.
The soldered spade terminals are not perfectly aligned, but it does slide on firmly. I'm happy with how it turned out. The user interface was vibe coded with Claude and has 3 pages of data.
