Follow these steps to install Link Sanitizer in your browser:
- Download the extension files: Download the extension files from GitHub.

Open the extensions page:
- For Chrome: Go to
chrome://extensions/in your address bar. - For Edge: Go to
edge://extensions/in your address bar.
- For Chrome: Go to
- Enable Developer mode: Turn on the "Developer mode" switch, usually found in the top right corner of the page.
- Load unpacked: Click the "Load unpacked" button.
- Select the folder: Select the folder containing the extension files and click "Select Folder".
- Download the extension files: Download the extension files from GitHub.

Open about:debugging: In Firefox, open the
about:debuggingpage in the address bar. - Click "This Firefox": Click on the "This Firefox" option on the left sidebar.
- Load Temporary Add-on: Click the "Load Temporary Add-on" button.
- Select any file: Select any file within the extension's directory.
- You only need to load the unpacked extension once per browser session.
- Make sure you trust the source of the extension files.
- For a permanent installation in Firefox, you would need to package and sign the extension through Mozilla's Add-ons Developer Hub.
