Technical Update: Delays and Current Issues in NG Extension Manager

We have identified a number of significant technical issues in the NG Extension Manager — more than at any point before.

To be fully transparent: we underestimated the challenges involved in maintaining and expanding this project. NG Extension Manager remains a core part of our mission, and our priority is to deliver a reliable, secure, and well-crafted experience.

Release Delay

The upcoming version 2.3.81 will be delayed. While no official release date was announced previously, we want to make it clear that the release will take longer than expected.

Moving forward, we will prioritize quality and long-term stability over frequent updates. However, this does not apply to critical patches, security updates, or urgent changes (e.g. infrastructure improvements) — these will continue to be released promptly when needed.
