This is a beta release. Please note that bugs may still occur.

We are making this version publicly available after having shared an earlier version with our Patreon supporters a few days ago. However, this public beta includes new features not previously disclosed in the Patreon post. One major highlight: the new Extension Activity Log is now available to everyone!

Previously Announced Features

Several previously announced features are included in this release:

• Improved bulk actions in the popup interface.
• New context menu when right-clicking an extension item in the popup. The menu displays:
  • The name and ID of the selected extension
  • The profiles and groups it is associated with
  • A direct link to the extension’s detail page
  • Options to:
    • Add the extension to a group or profile
    • Uninstall the extension

Cloud Sync Enhancements

• Improved feature explanations and updated tooltips
• More robust and secure sync behavior
• Retention policies for "Log" and "History":
  • Define how long entries should be kept (e.g., after 10 entries, never, 30 days, etc.)
• Export capability for Log and History entries
• Added search and date filtering options for both Log and History

Extension Activity Log – New Feature

The Extension Activity Log allows you to monitor other browser extensions using the modcore Extension Manager. Track events such as installation, activation, deactivation, uninstallation, updates, and permission changes.

Key Features:

• Toggle tracking on or off at any time
• Powerful search and filtering options
• Delete all entries with one click
• Set a maximum number of stored entries (default: 1000)
  • When this limit is reached, older entries are automatically removed (auto-deletion is optional and configurable)
• Manually delete entries older than a specific number of days
• Advanced cleanup options:
  • "Prune Inactive": removes logs related to uninstalled extensions
  • "Prune by Type": remove specific event types (e.g., only activation/deactivation events)
• Export and import your log data
• Sort order customization:
  • Newest first
  • Oldest first
  • Extension name (A–Z)
  • Event type
  • Group by extension
• Pagination support:
  • Set how many entries to display per page (default: 25)
• Toggle timestamp display (enabled by default)
• Compact view mode for entries

Keyboard shortcuts are available and explained in detail within the extension interface.

Known Issue

There is a known warning message in the console originating from the background.js file. This issue is related specifically to permission change tracking in the Extension Activity Log.
