Feature Request: Profile Cards in modcore EM

We are exploring the idea of introducing a lightweight Profile Card system in modcore Extension Manager.

This would not be a traditional account system. It would not require any credentials (such as email or password) and would remain completely local to the user’s device. Instead, the goal is to add a small layer of personalization and engagement inside the extension.

Concept

A Profile Card would allow a user to:

• Set a display name and profile picture (stored locally).
• Personalize their experience with greetings and contextual references (e.g., “Welcome back, Alex”).
• Track optional usage statistics (e.g., number of extensions managed, first install date).
• Access a reset option to clear profile data at any time.
• Export and import profile data for backup or device migration.

Possible Extensions

• Gamification: Optional awards or badges for trying features or reaching milestones.
• Support Integration: When reporting an issue, the display name could be included in the link for a more friendly support experience.
• Customization: Future potential for themes, profile-driven UI accents, or cosmetic enhancements.

Important Notes

• This would always be optional.
• All profile information would remain local only.
• Users would have full control, including reset and export/import options.
