We introduce a new example MCP server.

example-dogs.mp4

Motivation and Context

I wanted to introduce a new example server built with MCP Apps. I think this is a good example server for the following reasons:

  • Shows all capabilities of MCP Apps. Tool call, send follow up message, external links, hydrate widget UI.
  • Simple and fun example. Only uses the free, open dog.ceo API.
  • Dogs are so cute.

How Has This Been Tested?

Tested within MCPJam inspector client

Very cool @matteo8p! Nitpicking, I think the apps themselves would look more native to MCP Apps if they'd fit in a reasonably sized frame without scrolling.
