Exchange Full Example: Missing native methods and issues

The exchange full example tries to build and run a water model from raw data.

As of v4.5 there are some limitations and issues that stop this from happening without custom functionality.

• Splitting mains with other assets, e.g. hydrants, valves, nodes
• Importing ground grid
• Creating demand diagrams

Comments below go into details, will tick off and close each of the above as new features are added or if it is confirmed, custom methods must be used.

Splitting mains with other assets

If a hydrant, valve or any other object is on the midspan of a pipe then there is no simple method to snap the object into the main.

In the UI you would use the proximity trace.

I will create a custom class to handle this and publish as an example until there is a better method.
