Can not connect to beamer #902

Hi,
I followed the setup steps and was able to set up moonlight-embedded for my Pi3b+ with the newest raspian.
When I use it with my monitor it works fine. But when I connect it to my beamer which also uses HDMI it does not show anything after the boot screen.
I can change the config file back to dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d. which gives me an image on the beamer but after that I can no longer stream the video. (audio and keyboard inputs work).
Any advice on how to proceed?
The beamer is 1080p.
