License is ambiguous LGPL or GPL

The repo contains both a GPL COPYING file as well as an LGPL COPYING. Which one applicable, or can the user choose? I would like to use pystray under an LGPL license.

Thank you for your report.

The intended license for this library is LGPL., as indicated by COPYING.LGPL and the classifier in setup.py. I would like to remove any ambiguity, but I cannot find the file mentioning GPL. Would you mind pointing it out for me?

EDIT: It turns out I have a local fixup branch checked out, and one of the fixes is your requested change; the fix will soon be released.
