LineInputFormat

I would read water-line.shp with using Map-Reduce and as input file format i must choose PolygonInputFormat or PointInputFormat?

or there is no LineInputFormat ?
or there is no LineFeatureInputFormat

I use "String osm_id = val.attributes.get(new Text("OSM_ID")) == null ? "" : val.attributes.get(new Text("OSM_ID")).toString().trim()" line when I read value of "OSM_ID" attribute in my MAPREDUCE apk , but sometimes this line return wrong(negative and so long) OSM_ID.

I don't know where am I wrong?

No, like "Sample MapReduce Job (Your example)" I have written my MR prog. and as input file I have building-point.shp. With using qgis I know there are OSM_ID and other attr. I am getting right value for other attr but for "OSM_ID" not. That is why i wrote.

yes, I have already send to your adrs mraad@esri.com a snippet of the data (nature_reserve-polygon.shp).
