Phenomenal work on this script!! I'm using it to sync projectors for projection mapping. Now for my issue:

How can we support your development with this script? Can we send you some beer or coffee money as a token of thanks?

I (and probably a bunch of us) really want to support the development of this script.

Only item for a future release (and it's not a deal breaker in anyway) is having all the players jump to the next file in their individual play lists once the "next media in playlist" command is given or a file in a certain playlist position is selected.

Thanks for the kind words! To be honest, I am inspired by myself. This project was born primarily because of Formula 1 (with additional screens: i.e. lap image, driver times, etc.). In the future, hope, just imaging! If you will be able to get all driver onboards (rear camera, back camera, helmet, etc.) And then analyzing incidents interesting moments from different angles/POV. Even later (not in live).

So in the end you will be able to rewind, slow, etc. any moment.

Especially sweet candy here as in my opinion i.e. throttle and gas pedals inside driver cockpit (new in this season as I know). So you can see how does the driver work with car and pedals. They work on the edge of the control, although it looks quite simple in the broadcast. Sorry for TL;DR; I just love car mechanics. I can talk about it endlessly. )))

About coffee, accept tips with pleasure. Just not have crypto wallet jet.
Didn't study crypto topic jet (any advices welcome).
Need to dive to topic for myself. When all will be ready I notice here.

About you FR:

• Playlists. Seems quite simple feature and easy to implement.
  Just require review and consult with VLC protocol.

Please create issue for this with description and couple use cases.

It's nice to see someone use it other than me.

You use case with projections is rich and interesting idea, actually.
Just tip: in next release you will be able sync even with remote instances.
It won't restrict you on hardware (only locally) and you will be able to use i.e. Raspberry Pi as target screen. ;)

Another Use Case: Watching films with different languages together.
You have to set up multiple audio outputs first for two different headphones, then start the same video twice. On one instance the audio track and device is language1, and on the second it is language2 and vlcsyn synchronizes it perfectly. This way we can watch the same series with our preferred language and still watch it together :) vlcsync is awesome!
