Feat: Remote machine autodiscovery

Problematic

If you try to run VLC on remote machine the VLC port usually closed and NOT exposed wide to 0.0.0.0.
So we have some difficult for connect to remote VLC. We need many actions to sync two machines.
I mean if you want just sync's with roommate.

Solution

• Discover remote VLC (it iface + port) via ssh
• tunneling remote ports to local from remote machine
• Connect to local tunneled ports (that related to remote VLC)

Notes

• Will work in Unix out of box
• Not sure about windows (seems they have built-in OpenSSH server). Maybe it will be tricking somewhere

If I understand you correctly then you need to also open the port in the Windows Firewall, this is a elevated operation and requires Admin rights. You can set Firewall settings programmatically, did that in another of my projects.

And the SSH Server needs to be manually enabled in windows features when u want to use the built in one. Should also be able to enable it via commands programmatically.
Sadly I don't have experience with SSH tunnels so can't help you there.

Maybe you can just throw a lightweight ssh server and client into the project then you at least don't have to mess with the windows feature settings.
