LV2 instruments shows as "effect" instead of "synth"

Describe the bug
LV2 instruments does not show up as "synth" in dialogs and menus, they show up as a "effect".

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install an LV2 instrument (eg Surge XT)
2. Start (or restart) MusE
3. Open the "Midi ports/soft synths" dialog
4. See the the "type" of the plugin being shown as effect instead of lv2

Expected behavior
It is expected that the LV2 plugin will show as a "synth"

Hello. This should be no longer the case as of recent changes as of a few months ago in git master.
I think I removed the "(effects)" part and now it just says "LV2". That's what it now says here.
Can you verify and close if all is OK?
