Cannot Play/Pause via HA

I have Control 4 equipment (control4_core5_000FFF9C10B9 3.4.0) I use for whole house audio. I recently setup HA on a Rasp Pi5 and installed this C4 integration. It immediately recognized and imported all my speakers/rooms. Problem is the media player cannot play/pause music. It can however control volume, mute, and turn the speaker/room off and on.

Side note: I am a retired software engineer and would like to contribute if possible. I have python experience but it is limited mainly to my academic experience 10 years ago. I poked around the code and noticed the use of a python Control4 library. Who authors that library? Also noticed the last release of this integration is about 2 years old. Is there perhaps an update to the Control 4 python library since?

Hey. Sorry I built this back in college and don't have time now. I have frozen this basically lol so it doesn't break at home. But I did port most of the changes over to the official HA AddOn https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/control4/

Have you tried that. Prob best to add features there.

The library used was https://github.com/lawtancool/pyControl4 which is what HA uses too. Looking at it seems they got media and stuff going as well as further maybe could add some more features to the HA integration.
