Create Team Folder inside directory

Hi,

I wanted to create a feature request for Creation of team folders inside a sub folder.
It's already possible to do so, but not supported.

When creating a team folder, you can simply type the directory name + "/" followed by the teamfolder name:

This creates the Teamfolder inside Folder, when Folder doesn't exist, it creates a new folder. you also can remove the slash and Folder name it then moves the entire directory and contents.

The downside, it isn't officially supported. When doing it this way, nextcloud doesn't know of the existence until it's in root (at files app > TeamFolders).

Would be great if:

• There was an option upon creating to create inside certain folder

If you create a Team folder like A/B/C, then the parent directories A and A/B will be created automatically for every user with access.
I think what you are requesting already exists 🤔

That is what I said. But I found that out on accident. There should be a more user friendly way to create the team folder.

You mean you want to be able to create a Team folder while navigating your folders inside the Files app?

I meant more like this:

This way it's easier for most people to choose the actual location. More or less a small gui improvement

Hi,

I think this behaviour should indeed be officially supported and documented.
I have been using this for a long time with no functional issue.

The fact that the team folders in a subfolder are not listed in the UI sounds more like a bug. I am ready to help and test if someone is wiling to help on this.
