Nhibernate 5.6 Release Date

@fredericDelaporte do you have any idea when version 5.6 will be published to NuGet? I ask as I'm waiting for #3421 which you added to the 5.6 milestone back in September last year.

No, sorry, no idea.

Ideally #3609, a regression, should be fixed first, but no one, me included, seems to have spare some time to do it for now.

#3609 has been fixed.

Some other regressions are pending:

• Different SQL Generation About Many-To-Many Relationship With Filter after 5.2.0 #3652
• "No persister for: NhibernateTest.Entities.CustomDateType" When performing a query for the 2nd time #3669
• Collection cache lookup failure with enum keys #3643

Still, we may proceed to release 5.6 in its current state, see #3696.

Thanks for the update, I had a quick look at that issue but I'm not familiar with the code enough to fix that. Would it really matter if the issue is still in 5.6, considering it's already in 5.5.x?

Hello,

is there any news for a release date of 5.6?
For example we are waiting for the fix #3421 that was commited a year ago.
Working with preleases nuget packages from cloudsmith for a year is a less than ideal workaround.

Would it really matter if the issue is still in 5.6, considering it's already in 5.5.x?

Exactly! Please consider releasing soon, if the open issue is not a serious new regression but already in the last GA. Your not making it worse for users of the 5.5.x and help all of us with the new fixes. Your hard work is appreciated but it has to be released to have an impact.
