I'm in the process of designing a new layout, but most layout analyzers suck, and don't support the advanced features of ZMK. I am unable to analyze the actual layout I want to use. I forked this project thinking I would add built-in layout analysis that actually understands my ZMK config, but apparently you've gone closed source. Would love to see that feature.
Haven't really started, but the initial logic I have in mind is to tell the analyzer which layer to start from, then have it automatically find the the lowest effort way to access each character in it's corpus and run the analysis based on that. Currently analyzers aren't flexible enough to allow me to optimize my separate alpha/symbol layers.
Considering how powerful ZMK is, I'm sure it's a huge rabbit hole to make an analyzer support arbitrary configs, but something that would work for most people probably isn't that hard.
Anyway, I'm going to try to make something that works for me out of this, but I would love to see a feature like this in your editor. It would immediately obsolete all other analyzers, at least for people using ZMK/QMK.
