Snackbar is hidden below software keyboard

On a phone, snacks notified to users while they are typing in a text field are lost in the wind because they are drawn below the software keyboard. Is there any way to prevent this or maybe delay them?

One simple quick fix is to do android:windowSoftInputMode="adjustResize" for the activity
