Thaikudam Bridge is a music band based out of Kerala and founded by cousins- Siddharth Menon and Govind Menon. The 14 member band specializes in an eclectic mix of songs from genres across the spectrum. The band has metamorphised into a sensation succeeding in leaving its spectators in a frenzy after each performance.
Mr. Govind was the brain behind the band and was instrumental in bringing together the talent of 14 members. He was the music director of the award winning North 24 Katham. As a violinist and vocalist, he has offers pouring in from Mollywood.

Chanthupottu released in the same year which ran for more than 100 days came as a break for this actor. He eventually ventured into the Tamil film industry with the movie Vettai. <h2>Registration Guidelines</h2><br><br>
<ol>
<li>The Ragam ID which will be issued upon online registration will become valid only when it is confirmed at the Ragam ‘15 Registration Desk.</li></br>
<li>Participants should have a confirmed Ragam ID for participating in any event.</li></br>
<li>Only college students are allowed to participate for the events of Ragam ’15 other than Open events.</li></br>
<li>Participants should bring a valid college ID as proof of identity for registering for Ragam’15.</li></br>
<li>Participants can also register for Ragam at the Ragam’15 registration desk during the event but it is advisable that you register online so that the registration process is hassle free once you reach here.</li></br>
<li>For team events, every member of the team should have registered for Ragam and must possess a Ragam ID.</li></br>
<li>Once registered, participant can take part in any event or free workshop of Ragam.</li></br>
<li>Only those with Ragam ID will be given accommodation.</li></br>
<li>Prizes and certificates can be collected from the Registration Desk once the results are declared. For team events, the prizes will be handed over ONLY to the EVENT TEAM CAPTAIN.</li></br>
<li>The prize moneys for the events have to be collected from the Registration desk in person, with valid Ragam and College ID cards, before 3:00.a.m, March 30, 2015.</li></br>
<li>Registration Fee : Rs.200;</li><br>
<li>Hospitality fees:Rs.150 (In addition a caution deposit of Rs.100 will also be collected, which will be refunded at the return of utilities provided).</li><br>
<li>Workshops: As per the stipulated fee (No other registration fee required).</li></br>
<li>Registration fee of Rs.50/person/quiz. Those with valid Ragam IDs need not register separately for the quizzes. </li></br>
<li>Registration fee for Fury(Basketball) is Rs.1200 per team.</li></br>
<li>Registration fee for events of ‘Ragnarok’ at Ragam’15 are as follows:
<ul>
<li>Fifa 14: Rs.100
<li>NFS:Most Wanted : Rs.100
<li>Fifa 14 + NFS:Most Wanted (combined registration) : Rs.180
<li>Counter Strike: Rs.500/team.
<li>DOTA II: Rs.500/team.
</ul>
</li><br>
<li>Atleast one member of the team should have valid Ragam ID for registering for Counter Strike. Ragam IDs are not mandatory for registering for Fifa 14 and NFS:Most Wanted.</li></br>
<li>Only teams presenting a printed copy of the confirmation letter will be allowed to register for events like Couture Boulevard, Choreo Nite(Themed and Non-Themed), Swararaaga, Amplified, Acoustics and Drama.</li></br>
</ol><br><br>
<h3>For the special attention of the participants who are coming in groups: <br/></h3>
<ol>
<li>A member of the group should be assigned as the group leader and he/she must have a list of all the members of the group, along with their RAGAM IDs which were issued upon their online registration and their college IDs at the time of check in. Carrying such a list can ensure smooth registration.</li></br>
<li>A representative from each group is strongly advised to contact the Hospitality Manager prior to their arrival at the campus to smoothen the registration process, for confirmation of accommodation.</li></br>
</ol><br><br>
<h3>NOTE:</h3>
<ol>
<li>The Ragam Registration Committee reserves the right to deduct from the caution deposit for any loss/damage caused by the participants.</li></br>
<li>The Ragam Registration Committee will have the sole right to disqualify any team engaged in any form of malpractice during Registration or during any event.</li></br>
<li>Ragam'15 Registration Desk will be open from 6:00 P.M, 26th March. In case of early arrival at the NIT Campus, contact the hospitality manager to avail temporary accommodation.</li></br>
</ol>
<h3>Evaluation and Result Declaration Policy</h3>
<ol>
<li>
Every participant should abide by the rules, regulations and specifications given in Ragam’15 website for each event. A participant will be disqualified if any of the instruments is not compliant with the specifications of the event or if his/her conduct is deemed unreasonable by the event co-ordinators.
</li>
<li>
If the participation for any event is low, the model given below will be used as a reference for awarding the prize money:
<ol>
<li>
Only one team: Consolation prize (not necessary)
</li>
<li>
Two teams: 50% of first prize only.
</li>
<li>
Three teams: 70% of first prize only.
</li>
<li>
Four teams: 1st and 2nd only.
</li>
</ol>
</li>
<li>
The final decision regarding the prize money to be awarded will be the discretion of the organisers based on the performance of the participants.
</li>
<li>
In case of two first/second prizes (A tie which cannot be settled by the tie breaking rounds or any method described in the specific event rules) then the prize money will be decided as follows:<br/>
Case a : 2 first positions - (First prize money + Second prize money)/2
<br/>Second position – Third Prize money
<br/>Third position will not be declared in this case.
<br/>Case b : 2 second positions – (Second Prize money + Third prize money)/2. <br/>Third place will not be declared in this case.<br/>
Case c : 2 third positions - third prize money/2<br/>
</li>
<li>
Decisions of event co-ordinators will be final and irrevocable.
</li>
<li>
If there is any issue regarding the result, it should be resolved with the respective event coordinators, at the event venue itself.
</li>
</ol>

<h2>Hospitality Guidelines</h2><br><br>
<ol>
<li>The registration fee for hospitality is Rs.250 per ’bed’, out of which Rs.100 will be refunded on successful de-registration.</li><br>
<li>For Rs.100 refund, participants must submit Hospitality Registration form, Bill receipt and all the utilities provided (without any damage). Failing to submit any of the above mentioned will mean that the candidate will not be eligible to collect his/her refund.</li><br>
<li>If any commodity is missing or damaged, the refund amount for the whole team will not be returned.</li><br>
<li>All the utilities given to participants should be returned to the hospitality desk without any damage before 8 P. M., 29th March.</li><br>
<li>The hospitality desk will be open round the clock (24 hrs) except for proshows.</li><br>
<li>If the commodities are not returned on time, Ragam'15 Hospitality team will have the full power to take over the commodities given to the participants and in this case no refund will be given back.</li><br>
<li>For selected events (Swararaaga, Amplified and Acoustics), the store room will be open during the Ragam days. Ragam'15 Hospitality team will not be held responsible for any damage or loss of belongings.</li><br>

Direct trains/ coaches are available from Calicut to the major centres in India which

Trivandrum and Varanasi. The Calicut bound trains take deviation from the main
Madras-Cochin route from Palghat Junction or Shornur Junction. You can reach

With over 7 lakhs to be won in 50+ events and with contestants from all over the country, this is the platform to showcase your talents. Various workshops and exhibitions on art and art forms will be conducted throughout the 3 days. Informals, Adventure Sports and various other fun events will also be organised to keep you occupied. The icing on the cake will be the proshows by Eluveitie ,and ankith tiwari<br><br>
<li>Where to register for Ragam '15?</li>
Online registration has already begun. You can sign up directly from this site (Home Page -> Login) which would simplify the process as you only need to confirm your registration at Registration desk (MB 206) which will be functioning through the course of Ragam'15. The Registration desk also provides on the spot registration<br><br>
<li>Where to collect your prizes?</li>
You can collect your prizes and certificates at the registration desk after the announcement
of results. Participation certificates will also be provided.<br><br>
<li>How to avail rooms for outsiders?</li>
We have a dedicated team that will ensure your pleasant stay. A Hospitality Desk will be working 24 hours a day during Ragam in MB 207.<br><br>
<li>To eat or not to eat?</li>
Calicut is famous for its delicious food. There will be array of food stalls that showcase Malabar as well as other type of cuisines. In addition to all that, we have the Main Canteen which is right outside the Main Gate and also the Mini Canteen. Apart from these, one could also try out the various restaurants in Kattangal, the nearest junction.<br><br>
<li>Availability of ATMs?</li>
There are 4 ATMs within the campus. There is one ATM near the centre circle, within the college;
another ATM next to the Main Ladies Hostel Gate; a Punjab National Bank ATM in the School of
Management Studies campus and the farthest one is right next to SBI which is a 5 minutes' walk
from the main gate. In addition to these , there are two more ATM s at Kattangal junction<br><br>
<li>Queries regarding events?</li>
The event description and rules are given in the Events section of the website. For any queries
regarding individual events, feel free to contact the event co-ordinators which has been listed. It is highly recommended that you keep the contact numbers of the respective event co-ordinators so that any doubts regarding clash of events, schedule, etc. can be sorted out. An exclusive PC Room will be set up, for further clarifications.<br><br>
<li>Entries for proshow?</li>
For non-NIT students, tickets for the proshow will be sold during the 3 days of Ragam at the MB
Lobby. This ticket along with your respective college ID card will be adequate. For NIT-C students,
the college ID card and the Hostel ID card (or slip from Hostel Ofiice if you are a day scholar) will
suffice.<br><br>
<li>Acronyms used that you can familiarise with?</li>
Every college has its own set of names that it associates with its buildings/spots. Here are our
famous few: ELHC - Electronics Lecture Hall Complex;EBLHC - East Block Lecture Hall Complex; NLHC - New Lecture Hall Complex; MB - Main
Building; DB - Department Building; CC - Central Computing Centre (yes, one C is missing); MC - Main
Canteen; Pits - the steps in front of the ELHC; MBDH - MB Drawing Hall; AB - Academic Building,
apart from the common few like the OAT - Open Air Theatre; Audi - Auditorium etc.<br><br>
<li>Places to see in and around Calicut?</li>
Since it is an opportunity you get to visit Calicut, why not make it a tour to remember? There are
a lot of places one could visit- Calicut Beach, Kappad Beach (THE Vasco da Gama beach), Beypore,
Sarovaram Bio-Park and you can even stopover at Wayanad which is a 1.5 hour drive from campus.<br><br>
