@julierose-NOAA is doing some awesome work with nmfspalette to create more options for discrete scales and ensuring that all scales can be printed in black and white and still be distinguishable

We haven't really talked about this much apart from referring to the nmfspalette package. However, Posit has been developing a brand.yml R package (https://github.com/posit-dev/brand-yml/tree/main/pkg-r) that may be of use going forward. Once the GitHub Clinic is wrapped up, I'll have some more time to devote to https://github.com/nmfs-opensci/NOAA-NMFS-Brand-Resources and revisit some of these!

It could be useful to onboard some of these to the NOAA Fisheries Integrated Toolbox - or perhaps even create a FIT blog post to draw attention to them!
