when running create-nodejs-project setup

I think it is due to the discrepancy between the npm package and the master. As I can see the master branch and release branch both have differences in the code. This could be one of many reasons, I also noticed that init command and its injection to the create-nodejs-project behave differently. I am not sure that this project has ever worked but I would like to see end results as it promised on the readme file.
