Source outdated?

I tried to clone this repo today, and when I tried to run it I got an error on the line with "from pybitcointools import *". I changed pybitcointools to bitcoin, and the program started. Is this whole project old and abandoned, or what? I got a bunch of error messages on the console while it was running too, and it didn't seem to work properly.
