I ran into problems with downloading StrongSwan from their website. I got an ssl error, because there certificate wasn't yet approved. After everything else completed / errored out. I noticed the time/date was wrong on the Pi.
Might be a good idea to add something to set the time/date. It appears ntpdate doesn't exist in this distribution though.
