Feature request for the Type 30 virtual display.

First of all let me say that the Type 30 virtual display implementation is amazing. The fading phosphor effect works so well. Kudos Angelo.

I purchase the Waveshare 5 inch round display for my "full" Type 30 case. It is a really nice piece of kit. Solid. I like that the display electronics are already firmly mounted on the back of the display, and that the image is so sharp due to the 1080 x 1080 resolution.

But that 1080 x 1080 resolution comes at a cost. This is the resolution of a square with the 5 inch circle of the display inscribed. So in full screen mode, all of the pixels in the yellow area above are lost. You don't notice this so much running snowflake since it tends to focus around the center of the display anyway.

My request is for the ability to configure the "active screen area" {the blue square shown above) so that all the pixels can be seen in full screen mode. On the Waveshare Display for instance this would be about 764 pixels on each side or at coordinates (158,158) , (922, 158), (158, 922), (922,922).

Sorry for long delay. I think it's a reasonable idea. Another thing i would like to have is a toggle for a square display area. together with what you suggested this would make the whole display a bit more flexible. Looks like the to-do list will soon be ripe to hack on the next feature update.
