lua is fun! it owuld be nice to have lua modules :)

mechanism that i am working on right now:

1. module, written in C, is loaded. This module contains a wrapper from C to lua for all of the relevant context function calls.
2. this module will then load all .lua files in the same modules directory
3. for each lua file, it will initialize a brand new lua context for the module. The C->lua wrapper is used, so that the lua module can hook functions. BUT this is where the problem arises. The main program cannot just call into the code handler because it's not a proper handler. there must be a translator around that code. Therefore, to register a command, the bot would need to do this: Lua code -> C in bot_lua.c (register_command) -> C in modules.c and to run one, it would go like this: C in thread pool.c -> C in bot_lua.c (handle_command) -> Lua code. The bot_lua.c would need to keep a separate track of what commands correspond to what functions in the lua code. This is doable, but makes the file larger.
4. There is also a command to run a piece of lua code as an argument

The alternative would be to actually bake lua support into minervabot in the modules.c file. This would do the similar stuff for 1,2, and 3. This would also solve the problem brought up in 3 since the lua no longer needs a wrapper, but at the same time, it strays a little from the original intention of the bot - a bot written in pure C to show that C is fun :)
