Vt enters stop code and not segue or play

When you add Vt it puts a stop code in so screws the log up. Should be
Segue or at least play.

When vt ing the log jumps to the top after each Vt.

All hours in the log are hard timed, so you add vt into.hour 23.

Find the first vt time ,record vt and save, it them jumps back to 0000 rather that staying where you are so you can then find the next vt block in that hour , really it should do as it does in the real voice.tracker and take you too the next vt in that hour.

If you need something setup correctly to test out get back to me and I will put you on a test server all fully setup to go live.
24.04 by the way i tried php 8.1 and java php plug ins also the api lock file from 22.04 into 24.04 and still nothing nade any difference to 24.04 .

As for the proxy and installing nginx, you do not need to do that anymore, cloudflare has it all.there now .
Input localhost:80
And output in your script settings as https://thenameofyoursite.watever.
Give it a few hours and the dns will.all lock in fine ok.

Is this when you use the log editor ? I know it's has stop as default. It's added on my to-do list fix.

I know that the default voice tracking does this. I will do a solution so it goes to the correct hour.

Just doing a bit of testing now and so far seems to be doing the trick with the status of the vt,s. We changed the permissions to www-data:www-data as it seemed happier.
Still got a couple of machines to test it out on, have you ever tried it on v3 but it could not be compatible, but worth a try on a test machine. i may try it later.

I have not tested it with version 3, but it could work.
It's the parts that uses mysql database that needs to be the same.

Thanks for feedback and keep hit me with suggestions, and bugs. I will do my best to fix it.

The scrolling in logs will be fixed, but it will take some time.

No V3 i could not get it to run , php had a couplemof plugins missing but it did install but would not go past the login screen.

When you add a tag or the voice track in the log it is adding the wrong link , its putting in a marker rather than the voice track link, so that would stop you having to put some text in the box every time you add a voice track link in the log.
Times are all over the place and all tend to go on 00.00.00 when you add the links at the moment but it could be it does realise it a vt link going in.

The logs do not seem to auto refresh the live on air log ?

The -23 and -13 do not seem to work if they are in there for voice tracks ?
? Could be in there for music files only.

4 the databases throw out errors about unused links after a while but i am thinking could be to do with (1) above.

5 in hour blocks the voice tracking hours are being ignored so when it gets to 23.00 + , it end up putting hour 25 or 26 etc . Its skipping the hard on hour markers at the end of every hour for some reason ( could be to do with 1 again)

I can test it better by adding the voice links in rdlogedit/ log/ voice track , do not record anything. Come out , login to the log in rivendellweb and save it again and the voice tracks are in the right hours and there are times but they are all wrong but it is seeing the track times .

Hopefully once the correct vt link is in there and it understands the hard marker hour it be very good.

Two other things that could.be adjusted is the window when you are vting is too big as it hides the tracks you just played and the next ones, jingles / ads in that part of the log you are vting so it not easy to make it sound live,

V24.04
This is definitely killing the api in rivendell ,so far i can not find a way to dig into what it is changing, but i rip rw out and reinstall all the rivendell in over the top , the api works fine again in rivendell only. Just some info for thoughts.
I be honest 24.4 and even in proxmox the latest debian is causing a lot of problems too.

Ok maby the user database is not the same, i can take a look to see if there are some difference.

That part have i not tested, but when you press save, rivendells api takes over and do all work, so i need to check that. If it is so, then i need to try to do a workaround.

That part is also handled by the api, i will check to see if it some part that i have missed or if the api don’t handle that.

This i have notice about the time, it’s on my todo list to adjust and make it better.

I could include played and next in voicetrack window, so it will be easy to see.

Yes v24 and api is no good, there is an issue about it, let’s hope it will be fixed soon.

Played and vt would be good to try out or just the title or any other info could be good too. if its easy to change would be good to test out.
