Link MetadataBrowse to Advanced Search ?

Hello and first of all thank you for all your work,

I wonder if there is a way to make it so when users click on a link provided by Metadata Browse, they end up on an advanced search page, instead of the browse item page. However I do realize the two modules don't make requests the same way and there may have to be the same search parameters for both for it to work, so it cannot be a simple rerouting process.
Seeing how I have made advanced search the only available option for users it seems weird for me to link them back to a search result that does not function the same way and does not grant the same viewing/filtering/facetting options.

This being said, this is only a suggestion and both modules work great separately.

As you say, it could be a little tricky to have this work since they're using different routes. What would have to happen is probably some kind of coordination... Metadata Browse could provide an event that could let other modules modify the links it generates. Of course then it would actually have to be implemented in the other module also.

I don't think we'd be opposed to something pretty simple on this end that would enable something like that to work, but I don't think we can just unilaterally make it happen either.
