Update itself?

first of all thanks for the effort brother!
I hate it when projects turns into politics bs instead of focusing on excellence (the same reason I ditched gnome),
so I glad that you forked it to offer a sane alternative 👍

I just added Updatium to itself for an auto-update, but it keeps marking itself as out of date,
and mentioning "pseudo-version is in use"

Hi, thank you for your warm words :)
This is a known issue, since Updatium only has one official release (which is not the Nightly builds).
I'm soon going to publish a new "release" called "Donotinstallthis". Could you please try again tomorrow and let me know if it worked? I'd really appreciate it!

Just tested, but it errors that the version is older

If i manually install the new one, we're back to the previous behavior where it lets you update but always displays as out of date
