Is your feature request related to a problem?

There indeed are already two still open issues that are going into the same direction: #92 and #93. Anyway, I wanted to give this a bit more attention. For the open research community in Switzerland we would like to introduce such a calendar or use your solution. It would be grate to combine the events at a single place, what is exactly what you are aiming to do. The problem is now, that one should be able to filter events in Switzerland or events for a specific topic like reproducibility for example. Also a filtered subscription to the calendar would be very nice.

Describe the solution you'd like

• I'd like to add tags (basically any kind like country, topic, ...) to an event.
• I'd like to be able to filter by tags.
• I'd like to subscribe to a filtered calendar to never miss the most relevant events again.

Describe alternatives you've considered

An alternative could be that we host your solution on a server in Switzerland to manage "Switzerland-specific" events. I think it's a pity to not consolidate the events into a more international solution (linke openresearchcalendar.org) as we are living in the age of globalisation...

Anything else?

We could potentially contribute, if this is possible. But we need to know if this is something you would foresee or this goes into an unwanted direction. Also if you think this is possible with the solution(s) you chose to build this...
