Submenus in header and highlight current section?

I think Hugo supports sub-menus by adding a parent in the main parameters. Or by adding the parent in the article front matter. Does this theme support sub-menus?

And another question regarding the menu in header: is it possible to highlight the header part of the current site? For example highlight "About" when surfing to .../about/
