Request: Armbian Server Build with Linux 4.4 for S905W (SV6051P Wi-Fi)

Hello 👋

I'm looking for a previous Armbian server build based on Linux kernel 4.4, specifically for Amlogic S905W (gxl_p281).

The reason is that I have a device (X96 Mini, 1GB RAM) with the SV6051P Wi-Fi chip, and as far as I know, this chip only works with kernel 4.4 (due to lack of mainline support and closed source driver availability).

Unfortunately, this Wi-Fi chip is not working on 5.x or 6.x kernels, and without Ethernet nearby, I really depend on it.

Would it be possible to:

• Re-provide access to a previous Server build (minimal image preferred) with kernel 4.4
• For S905W (gxl_p281.dtb), ideally Ubuntu 20.04 or similar
• With working SV6051P support (or legacy modules for it)

If needed, I can test it and report back results to help others with similar hardware.
