Description

we are right up against the flash limitation of the current microcontroller running the feeder. especially considering the idea of doing a firmware update via RS-485, we'd need quite a bit more flash space to do it safely.

Suggested Solution

Choose a new chip that has a considerable amount more flash space, for ease of development and a potential RS-485 bootloader feature being much easier to implement

The STM32F030C8T6 is a good candidate for this (datasheet). It is similar to our current chip, but has 64k flash.
