Running tea --sync --env (or tea -SE) results in an error

When I try to run either of the above commands I get an error

tea --sync --env                                                                                               
pantries sync’d ⎷
error: not-found: pkg-env

I installed tea via brew

brew install teaxyz/pkgs/tea-cli

I am installing on a MacBook Pro (Intel) with Ventura (macOS Ventura 13.4.1). Something seems to have went wrong with the install. Any ideas?

--env is used in dev environments to spit out the computed tea environment.

$ mkdir foo
$ cd foo
$ tea -E

having installed, and --sync'd, you should be able to use tea now. Try tea gti or tea btm and it should just work.

The sync did not fix it but running the below did.

echo '{"tea":{"dependencies":{"tea.xyz": "^0"}}}' >package.json

Correct. --sync synchronizes the pantry and package versions. --env returns the values computed for the current dev environment.
