Many torrent releases contains not only media files in mkv format but also subtitles and sound in external files. These files have the same name as media files so it can be easily mapped such way.
This is example of most popular file structure for such releases:

Real world examples:
Subtitles files in the same directory as mkv
Subtitles files in subdirs of mkv
Could you make these playable in webtor as distinct stream so that user can choose audio and subtitles during main media (mkv) playback?
