RootServices lack a TRS feed link and reference OSLC 1.0 domains

I think that OSLC 2.0 namespace for RM should be

but maybe it is still supposed to be OSLC 1.0 namespaces ?
I'm not certain about this.

The root services document should indeed use new namespaces as per spec. This document, however, was derived specifically from the interop experience with IBM Jazz and we should verify any changes against real-world installations of Jazz, Polarion etc.

Have you experienced any limitations due to the use of outdated namespaces?

I am trying to get Jazz/RM to read external links stored in the refimpl.
I cannot add an Association of "Uses - Requirements", which I think I need to,
as Jazz does not offer this when I try to add the association, even though I can see the refimpl as an Application.
(After setting up all the friends and auth config)

I wondered if this was part of the issue, though I think my bigger problem is the lack of trs base

So I believe we are correct here.

The issue you have @dhakehurst is not related to the rootservices document. Root services is only relevant when (1) adding a friend (that is, initially connecting 2 applications); and (2) authentication.

Do you mean you have problems making Doors show a Selection Dialog from the RefImpl?

Ps. given that this is not a bug here, I suggest we again move hte question to the forum?

@Jad-el-khoury what I think might be a bona fide bug here is a lack of a TRS reference.

I think we need to update RM (and LyoD maybe) to add <trs:trackedResourceSetProvider> to the rootservices document when an OSLC server is generated with the TRS enabled.

Without that, I don't think that JTS/LQE will pick it up.

another issue with rootservices,
is that the oslc_am, oslc_rm, oslc_cm services provider entries all point to the same place

This instance is not a mistake. Lyo does not practice (out of the box, at least) multiple catalogs per server (that's because we encourage multiple OSLC servers for different underlying systems).

What that means is something along the lines of "hey Jazz, look at this service provider catalog - you may find various service providers covering the AM, CM, RM, and QM domains in there". Otherwise, Jazz may encounter a valid SP while iterating over an SPC and then simply discard it because it covers a domain not declared for this SPC in the root services document. To be clear, this is not a spec-conformant behaviour, which is why we do this in root services to effectively suppress Jazz from discarding any providers during the catalog read.

We should document this. And I see there only 3 domains, we should add the 4th.

Well, I am trying to get Jazz-RM to offer me the "Uses - Requirements" Association,
By including all of them might Jazz be default-categorizing the RefImpl as an Architecture Management (AM) or Change Management (CM) tool first, rather than RM.
hence why it does not offer the "Uses - Requirements" Association, I'm am only offered "Provides - Requirements" Association (+ others related to AM and CM)
