Jazz displays only one of the dialogs on a service provider

Hi,

in the AM SPC, the selection Dialog services are listed in this order

If I try to select a Resource to link to from within Jazz-RM, it is giving me the LinkType Selection Dialog, not the OSLC Resource Selection Dialog.

I guess it is because Jazz-RM is simply selecting the first one,
how should I change the order....there does not seem to be a way that I have found.

Even if I remove the LinkType Selection Dialog from the AM service provider, Jazz-RM freezes when trying to create a link!
maybe a Jazz Issue rather than a RefImpl issue, but worth checking out.

RDF assertions have no order. If you need a specific service from OSLC discovery, you have to search for it. Typical RDF libraries provide a means of parsing, reading, writing and searching RDF graphs for this purpose.

@dhakehurst this is a known defect in Jazz.

The OSLC specs allow any number of resource types to be exposed by an OSLC service provider and any number of selection dialogs may be exposed for selecting resources of any supported types. Siemens Polarion, for example, properly supports that.

Jazz tends to expect one OSLC selection dialog per OSLC service provider.

If you need to accommodate Jazz, you may want to remove all but one selection dialog from the SP. As Jim said, in RDF graphs, edges have no order (ordering information can be communicated in other ways irrelevant to you as Jazz would be unlikely to respect that).

You may want to download the modelling environment if you are interested to alter the structure of the OSLC servers in the reference implementation: https://oslc.github.io/developing-oslc-applications/eclipse_lyo/install-lyo-designer/ Note that you need the latest development build of Lyo Designer, not the stable version (refimpl serves as a sort of acceptance test environment for Lyo Designer).

The apparent freeze in Jazz-RM is caused by the selection dialog having size (0,0).

We have not put the AM refImpl to the test against such integrations. So good catch on the size.
