🥳 🎊 Congrats! Not to steal your thunder, but I also got into GSoC this year! I'm a former finisher of OSSU. (A post like this is a good example why this repo should enable Github Discussions already! Things that don't belong in Issues / Pulls need a place. Many people don't / can't use Discord, it's banned in my country for example.) |
@spamegg1 Congrats!🎊 and thank you, I read your blog regarding OSSU a few years ago before I even started, so I might say I know you 😄 |
Such a ride it must been so far, your grind to get better every day is a lot of motivation for up and coming people |
Such motivational stuff to share with new people to the community. 5 minutes of your time will be better than 30 minutes reading any article. |
Hi OSSU team and community,
I'm thrilled to share that I’ve been accepted into Google Summer of Code 2025!
This is a huge milestone for me, and I truly believe it wouldn’t have happened without the structure, guidance, and inspiration I found through the OSSU curriculum.
I’m currently in my second year of the curriculum, with roughly two more years to go. OSSU has been my foundation, giving me the core CS knowledge, project experience, and most importantly, the persistence to keep pushing forward.
Even though I still have a long way to go, this achievement shows how far OSSU learners can get with consistent effort and a clear learning path. I hope my journey encourages others in the community to stay committed and believe in what’s possible.
Thank you to everyone who contributes to this project.
If there’s any way I can give back or support others, I’d be glad to help.
