to_python seems not to work for non-square matrices

somewhat guessing about the above. culprit is that cannot wrap

ValueRef<Field<Matrix<real,3,2>,FaceId>>

but CAN wrap

ValueRef<Field<Matrix<real,3>,FaceId>>
