Delay/Lag Issue

Hi,
I am using ti.draggable to resize a view which has an ImageView in it. I use "move" event to change the left and width values. However, there seems to be a delay whenever I drag to resize (in a sense a smoothing effect is lacking). Any suggestions how I can get rid of the lag?
