Cryo-EM map files not displaying anything in Coot 1.1.20 on MacOS Tahoe 26.2

Hi Paul,

Hope you're doing well. My issue is as it says in the title - I have installed Coot 1.1.20 on a Mac running Tahoe 26.2 using Homebrew. I cannot seem to get anything to actually show up when I open a .map file downloaded directly from EMDB or a .mrc map downloaded from Cryosparc. ChimeraX opens them perfectly. I was wondering if this is an existing issue and is there a workaround, or am I just being daft?

Yes, you are probably being daft
:-)
You can see if the map has been loaded by looking at the Display Manager.
Also, the terminal will give you a sideways histogram.
Use the "Cryo-EM" module (top right arrow) and go to middle of map.
You will probably need to increase the radius ("]") and zoom out.
