Project build failure due to recent forte updates

1. If we consider maintaining this repo up to date, we should resolve the error.
2. A quick short-term solution is to provide a fixed Forte version for this repo.

@mylibrar but eventually this is not a high-priority item, only consider fixing the workflow if the error is easy to resolve
